Ended the day with a traditional lunch, fantastic. Guys, thank you for the great of the best experience in BaliWe were participating on a nice jungle tour. Darma, our guide, was a very nice guy and he showed us a lot of interesting things during our hike/tour. He even brought us some coffee which he has planted and produced and a home made rice cookie, which his wife prepared. It was so authentic and he taught us a great lesson about gratitude, just by speeking about their life and the spirit of Bali. I highly recommend him. Great sightseeing adventureLocal owned family biz by amazing people. Highly recommended, this is advertised and then a lot moreIncredible trip we had with Wanagiri Bali Adventure. This is the trip you must do when you are in Bali. The trekking is average and it is good for us. The trekking is a bit slippery so please bring good shoes with you. Our guide Agung is very friendly and helpful. We had very good time together. Our guide understand very well about the local area. Lunch is good and we can order veg food. Thank you so much and we will come back again next downhill ride to north coast! We chose a cycling adventure from the twin lakes to the north coast. There was easy and quick communication through whatsapp. Good pick up service and great support staff. The guides were supportive and provided good info about where we were heading and areas we visited. Good cultural experience as well as great scenery. Nothing was too much trouble for our guides. Highly recommended experience if you have some good riding skills but guides support you all the way. Definitely book them if you are keen for a good ride and great scenery!Unforgettable day of hikingThere aren't enough words to describe the the wonderful time we had on this hike. The guide, Darma, treated us like family and was incredibly helpful in getting us through the many difficult parts of the trail. This trek is not for the faint of heart, it was moderately difficult, but we were in good hands with Darma. The waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous, but the overall experience was incredible. Thank you to the entire Wanagiri Bali Adventure team for a magical Trek through the jungle and rivers to see wonderful waterfallsI would recommend the 7 waterfalls trek. The scenery is wonderful and the waterfalls amazing. Lunch and snacks are provided they catered veg for me including drinks. The guide spoke great English an pointed out a lot of interesting things along the way. Being locale was great as they had good knowledge of the area. You can do this trek solo or in a small group. Make sure you wear shoes with some tread as the paths and track can be a bit slippery. It's not a hard trek if you have enough fitness to wander up steep hills. Twin Lake hike and canoeing Darma was wonderful and really made sure I didn’t slip or fall throughout our hike as it’s currently the rainy season. He explained various plants and even pointed out birds. He’s very knowledgeable and was a great guide. I’d definitely recommend the hike. It’s not too demanding as it’s mostly downhill. Breath taking track, breath taking view, worth it!If you are looking for a natural breath taking dan challenging track, view, this one is a must try. The guide and driver are very helpful and motivating 😁. You can also try to swim in some of the recommended Wonderful jungle trail with canoeing I had a wonderful time going with the guys on this jungle trail. The walk started up in the little village. We went downhill to the first lake where we local fisherman. With their canoes we explored the lake. If we wanted to, we could paddle too! Afterwards we left the canoes behind and kept on walking by foot through the beautiful jungle forest with its high and old trees. We took the trail from one lake to the next one. It was really nice and not so difficult as I expected. During the trekking the guide told us lots of interesting information about the nature, the local people and the two lakes. We had lunch, typical Indonesian food transported in a bananaleaf. At the smaller lake, again, some canoes waited for taking us to the other side, where we were picked up by car. But not before we got to see the small temple directly near the lake. Perfect panorama! Back The Lakes and Water As A Natural Resource In Bali The four lake in Bali include lake Batur, lake Bratan and the twin lake Buyan and Tamblingan are the natural water resource and the ultimate origin to every springs and rivers in Bali. Water as a natural resource is a vital resource for human, animal and plant health. About 97% water on the Earth is salt water and only 3% is fresh water. Over two thirds of fresh water is frozen in glaciers, permanent snow, and polar ice caps. Water also exists in lakes and rivers, in the air water vapor, in the grounds oil moisture and in the aquifers. We may only notice water on the Earth's surface, but there is much more freshwater stored in the ground than in liquid form on the surface. Water in the ground continually recharges rivers through seepage and water from precipitation continually seeps into the ground to recharge aquifers. Freshwater. Surface water is water in a lake, river, or fresh water wetland. Lake is the biggest water resource of surface water about 87%. These surface water is naturally replenished by precipitation and naturally lost through discharge to the oceans, evaporation, transpiration and groundwater recharge. Although the only natural input to any surface water system is precipitation within its watershed, the total quantity of water in that system at any given time is also dependent on many other factors. The factors include storage capacity in lakes, the permeability of the soil beneath these storage bodies, the runoff characteristics of the land in the watershed, timing of the precipitation and local evaporation rates, wetlands and artificial reservoirs. This water resource, such as water falling from the skies and moving into streams, rivers, lakes, and groundwater, provide people with the water they need every day to live. Water Stress or Water Crisis. Water are used in various ways including direct consumption, agricultural irrigation, fisheries, hydropower, industrial production, recreation, navigation, environmental protection, the disposal and treatment of sewage, and industrial effluents. The concept of water stress is relatively simple. It applies to situations where there is not enough water for all user. This situation is related on several conditions such as population growth, expansion of business activity, rapid urbanization, climate change, depletion of aquifers, water pollution, and water conflict. Water Conservation. Water as a natural resource provide habitats for aquatic life and riparian systems provide moisture for vegetation and terrestrial biota, transporting nutrients between one ecosystem and another. As well, large water systems provide regional and climatic weather services. We cannot control our fresh water supply but we can control the quantity of water we use on a daily basis. Taking simple steps to restrict unnecessary water use and improve efficiency. Water conservation is cost-effective, the best ways to saving and benefit our environment. Clean water reduces the prevalence of water-related diseases. Less water going down the drain means more water available in the lakes, rivers and streams that wildlife uses to survive and we use for recreation. Using water more efficiently helps maintain supplies at safe levels, protecting human health and the environment. Info Twin Lake View Lokasi Twin Lake View Alamat Jalan Raya Wanagiri, Pancasari, Sukasada, Gobleg, Banjar, Buleleng There is an enormous panoramic stone platform, open to the public, from which you can admire the spectacular Twin Lake View, caressed by the fresh mountain air in between the blue lake waters and lush verdant forest. It is located in Munduk, in the north of Bali, where the ā€œtwin lakesā€ Buyan and Tamblingan meet in a caldera, formed after a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago, creating a unique naturalistic panorama. Until 1800, the two lakes were united, but because of a landslide, they were separated by a natural land-bridge covered by rainforest. In the area, it is possible to enjoy thrilling excursions, even on your own without a guide, on the Asah Gobleg hill or to the waterfalls of Munduk, rent a kayak and go meander about the famed tourist attraction, the Wanagiri Hidden Hills. For some more serious hiking, it is better to organise a group to reach the peak of Monte Batukaru. During the Twin Lake Festival, the splendid lakes and surrounding territory, agricultural heart of the island with fields of biological fruit and vegetables, coffee plantations and the characteristic rice paddies which cover the mountain slopes, offer themselves to the amazed eyes of excursionists. A curious fact the water that is used to irrigate all the thriving fields in the area comes from the over-thirty temples around the lakes. To avoid the heat and, above all, the rain that can spoil the otherwise stunning view of the landscape and outings to the surrounding areas, it is best to visit the Twin Lakes in the period from June to August.
